Only a Day Away

“Tomorrow tomorrow” came the inexorable cry from Annie as she thought about the ensuing day. Coincidentally, Powerpoint is also on tomorrow night [Friday 20th April for those of you reading this at a time which isn't today (Thursday 19th April for the same group)]

So, get yourselves down to St Thomas’s Church on the Glasgow Road in Edinburgh for a 7.30pm start. The evening is certainly shaping up to be a good one.

Also, I can confirm that there will be an end of year Praise Party on 15th June this year to celebrate the end of the school year with some worship. The evening will be at a different venue, The Braids Centre, 1 Nile Grove, Morningside (at the side of Morningside Post Office) – it’s where those nice folk from Morningside Baptist do the majority of their church congregational worship. Fittingly, The Very Reverend Karl Martin will be speaking. So the night should be excellent.

The venue is also bigger than St Thomas’s, so as well as being guaranteed a seat, you’ll also have the opportunity to bring some friends along who will also be granted the privilege of sitting! Great.

Finally, Powerpoint 07/08 dates have now been confirmed:

Friday 5th October

Friday 9th November

Friday 14th December

Friday 11th January

Friday 8th February

Friday 7th March

Friday 11th April

See you all tomorrow

Spring (Into Action)

Well hello there. It certainly has been quite some time. Spring is now upon us, the Seagulls have returned and the nights have all of a sudden become shorter. Time, that great foe of man, appears now to be more on our side than it has been for the last 6 months and the bears are starting to wake up…

Nevertheless, I thought it worth reminding everyone that the 6 week wait is almost over. Powerpoint returns on Friday 20th April at 7.30pm at St. Thomas’. This will mark the last Powerpoint in the Colossal series and it’s been a good one. I believe that lives have and will be changed by Powerpoint this year.

If you’re still swithering over whether you’re going to come along, swither no more, it’ll be a great night. Why not bring a friend?

I’ll see you there.
