No doubt you have just checked this site on the basis that your own intrigue is simply too great to wait until the next Powerpoint. “When is the next Powerpoint?” I hear you ask… Well it’s Friday 15th June at the Braid Centre, 1 Nile Grove, Morningside (see Google Map). “I’ll see you there…” comes your reply

The programme hasn’t all been finalised as yet, but all I can tell you is that it will be an awesome night of worship, wonder and whimsy. It should be a great night and can I encourage you all one ast time to consider asking someone along with you? Why not go and ask them right now, this post isn’t going anywhere…

Text mesage, email or personal phone call…?

10 Ways

I can’t believe it’s been more than two weeks already since the last Powerpoint. What an inspiring night it really was and God was truly glorified through worship, inspiring talks and a ludicrously long conga line…

Not quite a workd record, but I’m told that St. Thomas’ has never had a conga that size since it was established… at least none that has ever been documented, so feel proud; if there was a Guinness Book of St. Thomas’ Records, you would all be in it. Regrettably, there is not.

Onto more spiritual matters. I’m sure you all know it off by heart, but here are the 10 Ways to Be The Change as mentioned:

1. Give financially to a good cause you support
2. Meet and pray for your school
3. Be brave and tell someone about Jesus and You
4. Invite someone new to Powerpoint on June 15th
5. Be honest with your parents
6. Admit to God 1 thing you are a slave to
7. Commit to going to church
8. Encourage someone
9. Read your Bible every day by yourslef or with a friend
10. Campaign against modern day slave trade

Ok, no doubt you are all eager to get away from the computer screen and be(bo) the change, so I’ll stop the rambling. One more plug for the summer Praise event at the Braids Centre Morningside on Friday 15th June… are you coming???
