That Time Again

Those hours, that with gentle work did frame
The lovely gaze where every eye doth dwell,
Will play the tyrants to the very same
And that unfair which fairly doth excel:
For never-resting time leads summer on
To hideous winter and confounds him there;
Sap cheque’d with frost and lusty leaves quite gone,
Beauty o’ersnow’d and bareness every where

Let’s hear from some lovely words from none other than Good ‘ol Billy Shakespeare who was writing about how quickly Powerpoint comes upon us. It’s easy to see just how much Shakespeare lamented the fact that Powerpoint is only once a month and yet, his surprise at how quickly it creeps up.

STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND THINK – what am I doing this Friday, 7.30pm at St. Thomas’ Church, Glasgow Road, Edinburgh?

It’s going to be a good one and we are fully expecting the Holy Spirit to be working hard, changing lives, challenging thoughts and filling us up… Tara Devlin will also be speaking; as anyone who has heard her speak before will tell you, “Now there’s a treat”.

See you Friday!
